The Roof Technician Inc. is a licensed and insured roofing company operating in Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), including York Region, Peel Region, Durham Region, and Halton Region. We provide professional roof repair, roof replacement, flat roofing, skylight installation and repair, and attic ventilation services for residential and commercial properties.

2. Use of Our Website

By using our website, you agree to:

• Use the website only for lawful purposes and in compliance with these Terms.
• Provide accurate and truthful information when submitting forms, requesting quotes, or contacting us.
• Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the website, its servers, or any database connected to it.
• Not use the website to transmit malicious code, spam, or any material that is unlawful, threatening, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.

3. Service Estimates & Quotes

Estimates and quotes provided through our website, over the phone, or in person are approximations based on the information available at the time. Please note:

• All estimates are subject to change upon physical inspection of the property and roofing system.
• Final pricing may differ from initial estimates due to unforeseen conditions, material cost changes, or changes in the scope of work.
• Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date of issuance unless otherwise stated in writing.
• A written contract or work order will be provided before any work begins, outlining the agreed scope, pricing, and terms.

4. Service Agreements & Contracts

All roofing services are governed by a separate written service agreement or contract between you and The Roof Technician Inc. These Terms do not replace or override any specific terms in your service agreement. In the event of a conflict, the service agreement shall prevail.

5. Warranties

The Roof Technician Inc. stands behind the quality of our work:

• Workmanship Warranty: We provide a workmanship warranty on all completed roofing projects. The duration and terms are specified in your individual service agreement.
• Manufacturer Warranties: Roofing materials used in our projects may carry separate manufacturer warranties. We will provide all relevant warranty documentation upon project completion.
• Warranty Conditions: Warranties may be voided if the roof is modified, repaired, or tampered with by parties other than The Roof Technician Inc., or if damage results from Acts of God, negligence, or failure to perform routine maintenance.

6. Payment Terms

• Payment terms are outlined in your individual service agreement or contract.
• A deposit may be required before work commences, with the remaining balance due upon completion.
• We accept various payment methods as communicated at the time of service.
• Late payments may be subject to interest charges as permitted by applicable Ontario law.
• Unpaid balances may be referred to a collections agency or result in a construction lien in accordance with the Ontario Construction Act.

7. Cancellation & Rescheduling

• You may cancel or reschedule a service appointment by contacting us at least 48 hours in advance.
• Cancellations made after work has commenced may be subject to charges for labour and materials already incurred.
• We reserve the right to reschedule appointments due to weather conditions, safety concerns, or other circumstances beyond our control.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• The Roof Technician Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of our website or services.
• Our total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
• We are not liable for delays, damages, or failures caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including extreme weather, natural disasters, supply chain disruptions, or government orders.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, photographs, graphics, logos, videos, page layouts, and design elements — is the property of The Roof Technician Inc. or its licensors and is protected by Canadian and international copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.
